Eureka – Global Innovation Summit at Hannover Messe

Global Innovation Summit (GIS) | Hannover Messe 2025 | April 1–2, 2025

The Global Innovation Summit (GIS), organized annually by the Eureka network, brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and policymakers from around the world. The summit serves as a platform to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and shape the future of innovation.

This year, the GIS will be held under the German-Canadian Eureka Chairmanship.  It will be held at Hannover Messe on 1st and 2nd of April, 2025. More than 1,500 participants from across Europe and beyond are expected. The program includes plenary sessions, panel discussions, breakout activities, B2B networking opportunities, pitch sessions, and company matchmaking.

During the GIS, interested companies will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue on Circular Value Creation. The “Circular Value Creation Forum“ offers the opportunity for participants to present their organization, research needs, research questions, or project ideas in short pitches and discuss them with experts. This may lead to the formation of (international) partnerships for collaborative research projects.

The thematic focus of the current German-Canadian Eureka Chairmanship is “Circular Value Creation“.
In June 2025, at the conclusion of the Chairmanship year, an Eureka Call for Projects on the topic of Circular Value Creation will be launched. Since autumn 2024, international experts from industry, research, and policy have been identifying key research needs in this field. Stay informed about the latest developments!

Global Innovation Summit GIS auf der Hannover Messe 2025 vom 1. bis 2. April 2025

Der Global Innovation Summit (GIS) des Eureka-Netzwerkes findet jährlich statt. Innovatoren, Unternehmer, Risikokapitalgeber und politische Entscheidungsträger aus der ganzen Welt kommen beim GIS zusammen, um Ideen auszutauschen, Partnerschaften zu schließen und die Zukunft der Innovation zu gestalten.
Ausgerichtet wird der GIS dieses Jahr unter dem deutsch-kanadischen Eureka-Vorsitz im Rahmen der Hannover Messe, die vom 31. März bis zum 4. April 2025 stattfindet. Es werden mehr als 1.500 Teilnehmende aus Europa und darüber hinaus erwartet. Plenarveranstaltungen und Podiumsdiskussionen werden ergänzt durch Breakout-Programme sowie B2B-Austausch, Pitch-Sessions und Matchmaking für Unternehmen.

Fachliches Hauptthema des aktuellen deutsch kanadischen Eureka-Vorsitzes ist die „Kreislauffähige Wertschöpfung“.

Im Juni 2025, zum Ende des Vorsitzjahres, wird eine Eureka-Bekanntmachung zu Themen der „Kreislauffähigen Wertschöpfung“ veröffentlicht werden. Seit Herbst letzten Jahres ermitteln internationale Expertinnen und Experten aus Industrie, Forschung, und Politik dazu die Forschungsbedarfe. Informieren Sie sich hier zum aktuellen Stand

Auf dem GIS haben interessierte Unternehmen die Möglichkeit, sich zum Thema „Kreislauffähige Wertschöpfung“ zu treffen und auszutauschen. Im „Circular Room“ können Sie Ihre Organisation, Ihre Bedarfe, Forschungsfragen oder Forschungsideen in einem kurzen Pitch präsentieren und mit Fachleuten diskutieren. Möglicherweise finden Sie auf diese Weise (internationale) Partner für ein gemeinsames Forschungsprojekt.
